No Longer Walkng in the Dark

The earths thunder breaks, in the shudder of blinded scars, of a wounded sky
The mountaintops crackle, to the highest cliff, echoing walls, whispering cries
A burial ground of the walking dead, the past, now a closed tomb, forgotten, enslaved people
Blue turquoise stones, silver, gold, filled jewels, symbolic of native land
The pounding loins, of the running buffalo, the dance of the wild, the howl of the wolf, enchanted by deaths sacrifice
Ashes, remains, red clay pieces of pottery, where broken bones of a strong hand, let go, decay away, under a pyramid steeple
Where spirits sing, haunting the hollow heart, engaged by memories, dried blood stained on the rock
Ladybirds spirit of promise, awakens, taking hold of her faith, she flies to be free
Spreading her wings, like a white dove angel, a celebration of life, to believe in a dream
No longer buried, no longer lost, no longer, to walk in the dark, as I now see the light gleaming, before meÂ
