As lost as you once where

There is always that one person, wandering around lost,
confused, and scared.
you will bump into them one day,
they will stop momentarily,
and stare at the words you say.
it seems like they heard you,
like they saw your words light up their path.
they continue to keep walking,
into their own darkness,
they forget even seeing you
although
you will always remember
which in turn makes you want to,
run towards the blackness,
and show them the way out
you knew they were headed the wrong way,
you had been there before
your efforts will be exhausted,
yes you have been there,
but you didnt care,
not when you where there walking down that dark horrid
path,
so why should you expect anything more,
go ahead and try to make sense of it,
you will never fully comprehend,
that which lies,
beneath the wool sheet that is draped over his eyes
remember,
encouragement goes a long way,
but not for anyone that is not ready to listen.
like asking a blind man,
to explain the portrait you hold in his face,
yes it hurts,
to see someone
walk the same path,
that same
long horryfying,
lonely, dark
path,
that you have walked down,
you know what they will learn,
and you know it will hurt them like it did you
you could save them all that misery,
you could tell them your stories,
tell them the things you have lost
on that winding path
losing the one you love
losing so many friends,
losing your family,
almost losing your own life
will they listen?
will they care? sometimes i guess others have to see these things themselves, to know that they are true as much pain as it causes just patiantly, wait worry anger sadness and the misery you feel because of them is only hurting you. dipping yourself into a giant bucket of someone elses turmoil is a sure way of drowning yourself let him come to you let them ask for your advice if you never hear from them again look the other way; remember; nothing you could have done.
