Ashes and Embers

From the dust we’re born, 
And to which we’ll return, 

Enigmatic energy boiling from below, 

Reaping repercussions of unbearable cold, 

Baby blue tears raining above, 
Washing away bodies of blood, 

Endless seas of salt and silt, 

Dry and deserted where mountains filled,

Bolstering breezes of wild wingless wind, 

Pressurized plumes spew from each end,

Impeccable ice shards scar the sky, 

Watching warmth of one burning eye.
