Whispering secrets to bark
On wings of the meadowlark
Envious trees grant a plea
Shedding with uninhibited glee

Colors of amber gold
Enchanting site to behold
Kicking up heels in dance
Awaiting solstice by chance

Fairy wings aglow
Glisten in frosty bestow
Autumn bids adieu
To summer’s balmy hue

A mischievous sprite smile
