Baby swan song

They lost our youngest member of the family.

So many worries for a life not even half lived. 

Squashed in the canal the tiny giant. 

What should have been a perfect beginning, become a sorrow filled end. 

Mourning the potential never grown up. 

That baby swan song so heartbreaking, heartbroken a tune. 

No one likes confrontation  especially the harrowing song of death who is the most confrontational. 

Another will have to pass, to lead the way and carry the baby swan away. 

 Damaged beyond repair to your kin,  they wanted you to get to be, . 

They begged the sky, to let you  stay. 

Oh how they cry over a coffin so small. 

Effects the emotional integrity, the intensity of the biggest loss of all.
