Poem -

Ballard of the homeless

Today I wonder on my own

Alone and desperate

Wet through and froze

One blanket to call my home

Yet you walk past

Ignore my being

My suffering

you prefer not seeing

yet for what I ask

Can you not give

A cup of tea

A place to live

I'm all around

Can you not see

What your world has done to me
