Bang

You were the flash
I was dazzled
Long after you went off I was still seeing your bright spots
and you were drowning in darkness
Maybe we both were
I was too blind to see
and you never knew me
So I woke up with you on my mind
and wore myself out til I could lose you
Just when your light started to fade
there you were again
I somehow knew we would be here again
and here I am....torn between staring and closing my eyes
Maybe I'll always love you, but I know I won't be dazzled this time
So you be the flash
and I'll be the bang.
