Battle

Battle

We weren't told it's going to be a smooth sail
That there won't  be difficulties on the way
Neither were we told we'll never fail

It's not  about having it all
Can one ever have it all?
Not in this life after all

It's not all about having money
As one can still be wealthy and sad
Or better still have money and be in agony

Some have almost nothing and are happy
With little food to fill their stomachs
But they've decided not to be unhappy

There are  people who have very difficult moments
But I've decided to stay strong no matter what
With joy and happiness in abundance

There're times in life that we'd fall
It's left for us to really decide
If  we'd stay down or fight to stand tall

Live one day at a time
This life is not forever
Time passes as the clock chimes

There's nothing that is permanent
Why not make today count
Because tomorrow is not certain

Of course you'd be missed when you die
But life still continues long after you're gone
All that will linger is your memory and legacies

Be either happy or sad
Love or hate yourself
Do whatever you like….but remember, life is a battle…

Hi Rose. this is great ## happiness can't be measured by the size of our house,  money, but by the size of our hearts ##we cannot take the money with us when we die ## we are just pilgrims##

hugs and kisses

My Dear Sweet Rose,

In the battlefields of this life we live
There are highs and there are lows
Some will find prosperity
Others in rags for clothes

But true happiness is not for sale
No amount of money can it buy
A poor person might always laugh
Yet a rich one might ever cry

These skirmishes will never end
You must look deep into your soul
And decide if you want it to ever smile
Or succumb to depression's knoll

All my love,
Daddio xxx

Hi Rose,
great poem, life is a battle. Happiness is not about material things, for me it's about the love you have for others and the love you get in return..
