BATTLE SCARS
Ricochet Rocket
Boomerang Bud
My family.....
My brother.....
Naught we be....
Bound by blood....
But boundless boundaries
Can be misunderstood
...Thus I want
YOU....to see..
In entirety,
And with smiling eyes
You then wink back at me.
And if others should choose
To falter your ways
Uncover the mask
Of their masquerade haze
Releasing yourself
By escaping their maze....
And my brother in battle
Let your scars reveal strengths
Your victory stripes
No matter their lengths
Serve severe memories
So if anyone thinks...
That my brother
Took cover...
He was pushed to the brinks!
And his scars....revealed
Are the missing links
Of his battles of life
Exposing ironed out chinks..

Thanks Williamsji :)
Sounds like you have a lot of admiration for your brother Carey, although maybe life has not given such an easy ride. Him like the nuclear war head, and you his little pocket rocket. A real heartfelt sentiment in defence of your brother, who you are quite clearly very proud of. Lovely write Carey:)
Hi Carey Milton.........your ability to wield words is astounding.........impressive sister girl...........smiles....T xx
Heya Blossom
I do indeed admire ...(the brother I never had)...He has always been there for me even when it was him that needed that shoulder to cry on....And I was there for him in return.
My thanks for your recognition of gratitude to him, and those who wear their battle scars with pride :)
Carey x :)
Thanking you for your always kind words Tony :) x
Cherie..so true in your words to describe my brother ..You have summed up my super hero in one...He is such a golden heart that has vowed to look over me since his best friend...(my mums husband)...passed from a massive heart attack. Deserving of more gratitude than I could possibly say.
Thanks dear sister xx
