Poem -
DEMONS BEGONE!!
In juxtapose you posed as my friend
Yet unaligned till the very end.
Taken for granted I granted your wishes
No bills you would pay, no washing of dishes.
My only use was to take your abuse
Your only useā¦well there was no excuse.
With all you came with
You left with the same
A fake identity
And a voice with no name.
So why would I even write about you?
Iād call it a freedom within, overdue.
There are so many others Iāve met just like you
Maybe now ill be able to meet someone brand new.

WOW CAREY!!...... It's so good to see you on the pages again....... although I wish the circumstances inferred in this piece were different........A VERY powerful piece that expresses extremely well that which so many have experienced in their own lives thereby making it extremely easy to relate to..... and to be moved by....... the kind of subject matter that poetry (as a tool) can be so effective in helping heal the soul of its author!!.......I haven't been on Cosmo much myself recently so I don't know if you've' been writing much lately...... but I do know that you're one of the best writers I've had the pleasure of reading here and I pray that those demons do find their way into the abyss and that Cosmo and its readers has the continued benefit of having you around more consistently.......I hope your book is going well and I pray that life for you continues to improve daily!!.........I am your cyber-friend and admirer...... I miss u guys so much as you are as real as they come!
I haven't been inspired to write much at all lately but decided to utilise my artistic hands instead.Ā A major art shop here in Australia, Melbourne, Art Riot were asking for applications from artists wanting to display 4 pieces of art in their shop window for sale, advertising my works so I entered and got accepted! Has been a long wait but they go up on the 1st of May to the 26th May...Super Excited!Ā Thanks for your always appreciated comments and I don't think I could ever really leave here entirely.Ā
