WISH LIST

WISH LIST
  1. Wish One…

May I merely make a righteous request?
As you mark my words with a tick on life’s test.
I guess my only question is this…
Will I ever be granted anything that I wish?

I’m known to roam among the unknown
In that stillness, I remain here alone
Without doubt, my route will reveal broken bones
Whatever it takes for my sake to be shown.

Β  Β  2.Β Wish Two…

β€˜Could there actually be
One who truly believes?
And if they honestly see
Could they prove it to me?’

May I simply suggest
that my gracious new guest
Owns a well-built backbone
which defies all the rest?

With the heart of a sincere, sagacious old soul
Who’s willing to fulfill their God-given goal
For a most unique mind, one just like my kind
Is all I am truly seeking to find.

A benevolent being who will sit beside me
Devoid of all vengeance and hostility
And should they ever feel the need to leave
Just promise to take me with you …
Please…

Β  Β  Β 3.Β Wish Three
If you’re wondering where all your wishes went
Wasted wants so selfishly spent
Taken for granted,Β
there’s no need for your greed.
So I wished all your wishes would come true for me.
And if they do you’ll be the first to know
because people like you will be the first to go!
