"Be Brave"

"Be brave with me,
and try to help,
others believe,
God isn't just make believe,
that He isn't,
just our way,
of coping with,
the fear of dying,
that He is ever present,
and always trying,
to help us,
if we would just accept,
Him wholeheartedly,
and not neglect Him.

I wonder how deep,
is His Pain,
and sorrow,
for the ones,
who never,
call out His Name?

Does this thought,
move in you,
strike cords of despair?
Do you even,
really care,
what all He does for you?

If not,
know I was once,
like you.
A shunned outcast,
of my own making.
I couldn't cope,
with the inner pain,
of my own heart breaking,
so I drank 'til I drowned,
strung on a line,
but with God's Help,
I got my life back.
I claim it!
It's mine!

I pray these words of hope,
make birds of glory,
in you,
that fly,
and that you seize the spiritual life,
and that it never dies,
no matter how hard,
the Devil tries.
Now take your life back,
in your hands,
seize it!
Because God is here with you,
you better believe it!"
