Poem -

Be Kind.

Be Kind.

You should love a man who knows where heā€™s going.
Who has some direction.
Who knows without knowing,
That his future is worth more than his present.

You know people can grow without growing,
Can reap, without sowing a single seed?

Such toing and froing,
Such greed without showing,
An ounce of kindness
Seems so selfish to me.

I hate to repeat, but societies weak,
Its structure is bending and bowing,
Its skeleton is weak at the knees.

The end will be sudden.
Orange and glowing.
No fish,
No birds
No trees.

So, in times never slowing.
Just remember where youā€™re going.
And remember to say thank you.
And please.

And ā€œI love youā€
To those that you need.
And canā€™t live without.

Who would be foolish enough to disagree with the core sentiment & title eh'
No one mate, that's who .. Oh' and as for the main body of todays long overdue offering is concerned ..

I hope and pray your middle name is neither Nostradamus, Old Mother Shipton, or Mystic Meg ..

But it goes without saying you have got certain members of our species off to a tee .. and I take my hat off to you n ya pen ..

All Goodest of Good Things .. NevilleĀ

Hey Brenadete! I can't promise I'll be sticking around, still travelling but settled down for now, so I've got a little time on my hands. Thank you for your kind comment, it's weird, I didn't really think about this one at all, just came to me in 10 mins walking. Glad you enjoyed, might poke around over the next few days, thank you again for the warm welcome back~

Being Me

I love this poem, Max. It flows so well... its twisty and yet it is also flowing and the rhyme scheme really, really works. A poem I will read and read again. Pinned x
