Beautiful Heart

Broken and shattered 
sharp shards of 
glass are all that remain 
of a beautiful heart.

constant poisoning 
creating untruths 
instigated by blood 
line, breaking all rules 

the beautiful heart 
began to swell with 
rage hate in command 
causing ugliness and pain 

the dark heart isolated,alone,
no control beats louder
beats quicker noise deafening 
as the heart explodes

now all that is left is on
the floor a broken heart
that can’t take 
no more.
