Poem -
BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP
She sparkles like diamonds
with teasing appeal
Her eyes are like emeralds
shining, in shades of green
Her lips are like rubies pouting,
lusciously in red
Her smile shows pearls of white
as a brides dress just wed
She uses these assets of jewels
to get what she wants
She is a great actress who
teases, tickles and taunts
She lights up a room with
an entrance akin, to a queen
And she purposely looks demure
which gives her, appeal
Men swoon at her beauty
which is beyond their comprehension
For them she`s an angel of loveliness
and is to be payed, attention
but after all her beauty
is only skin deep
for inside is what is beautiful
a treasure to keep..

Beauty is only skin deep and the inner beauty is what matters...The outer beauty fades with time...but the inner beauty is a treasure that glows as long as the person lives....Nicely writtten Debs...I almost missed it..I'm glad I caught it
