The Beauty of Nature

I wake up in the morning to hear the singing birds

Their melodies more beautiful than ones with words

And the daylight that shines through my window at dawn

Tells me of the beauty of nature that the world frowns upon

From the waterfalls that pour down into rivers and streams

To the trees, flowers, insects, and sunlight beams

These factors of nature put beauty on our earth

And without these elements, beauty would never rebirth

Look into deep seas and see what others miss

And you’ll find the most wondrous creatures in this abyss

Take a look at ground that holds you so you won’t fall

And tell me that this world doesn’t just have it all

Take a look at the stars and moonlight that bring light to the night

And they’ll smile back and shine ever so bright

And when night turns back to day, look at the sun that shines above

And reality will be better than whatever you were dreaming of
