Poem -

Became, became, became

Became, became, became

guilt instilled from insecure pieces
all laying with no value, priceless
with no recollection of their beauty
but rather ill lit intentions fueled
breaking down the few left spirits
weakened with faulted pain
continuous blame, blame, blame
my name you said stood for nothing
I remained, remained, remained broken
until you left, i decided to stay, stay, stay
with your depart, more i fell apart
or so i thought, with no confidence
with time came strength, strength, strength
with much support and love came change
slowly i became, became, became art
my shattered pieces you called ugly
in others hands were stunning mosaic tile
