Poem -

beech

Sat on the beech looking out over the sea,

There is nowhere where else I want to be,

The beech is where I want to be

So many things going round in my head,

One being that I would probably be better of dead,

Better of dead

Things are hard at times,

Some of us turn to crime,

Turn to crime

Never leave the loved ones behind,

The hurt and pain in the mind,

There will always be a right time,

Things get better they have to,

You don’t have to be a victim of the pooh

Of the pooh

Look to the future and hold on tight,

You can always find something that looks bright

Looks bright

The moral to this is don’t be a victim make something of your life don’t hold on to your past I learnt the hard way

Kind regards Clare Allsopp
