Some say aliens inhabited the earth
Before homo sapiens appeared
Pretty sure some are still living among us
Been running the country for years
Some of these yahoos are out of this world
With no correlation to reality
âWe the peopleâ was a great new idea
Though it surely dates back to antiquity
The patsies we are, we go with the flow
Don't rock the boat that's for sure
If only someone would stand up and yell
âWe ain't gonna take it no more!â
At eighty-one not too many to go
Won't waste my remaining breath
Conserve it for much more important stuff
Like cheering the Blue Jays till death
