Poem -

BEFORE I SAID GOODBYE

Did I pray you wrong?

You wanted to die...

I wanted you to live...

Your pain...

I didn't want you to suffer...

You wouldn't want me to suffer either...

You showed me that...

Not for that...

I don't want anyone to suffer...

Was it your prayers that were over powering mine?

I prayed that if Jesus was taking you away...

I prayed that you could remain for a special day...

Your granddaughter's fourteenth birthday...

That was the last time we heard your voice...

Remember your family and all the kids stood around your bed?

The candles lit on the cake...

We all sang...

Happy Birthday...

That was on the nineteenth...

You passed on the thirty-first of that month...

I awoke alot earlier than I ever have without it being a fussy baby waking me or...

My grumpy Dad...

Listening to the monitor...

Everyone was asleep...

I knew you were gone...

Warm still to the touch...

Was it me you wanted to see you first?

There was a do not resuscitate order...

I watched as they drove you away...

Before I gave you a kiss...

That will always be the last with you...

I didn't have the answers...

If I could I would have happily accepted them...

Did you have enough trust in God for your ability to heal you?

Were you already letting go?

I felt as if I was in a invisible tug-of-war...

Something I couldn't physically touch...

Something that couldn't be seen?

I prayed everyday day up to the last...

You didn't cry until...

You had a tear drop rolling down your cheek...

One in the other eye...

Before I said goodbye...

I love you Mom!

Me...

Hello Debs...

I just finished reading Ricardo's poem on the flying monk...

I am trying to think of a comment to say very awesome...

I noticed your comment and I am hoping you are still on site...

I know your Mom passed away recently...

So much loss...

So many condolences...

If I didn't say how sorry I was...

I am very sorry for your loss...

It's been since two thousand-four, but I still miss my Mom...

I tell her often that she's spoiled rotten...

Breakfast in Heaven...

Singing all day...

Whatever else they do in Heaven?

She's being a part of it...

I always told her one day she will be spoiled rotten...

She is...

Thank you for your loving comment...

Our Mom's will always be...

Hugs and Smiles!

Hello Debs...

I don't know if you have gone to any grievance support groups, getting peace and strength from the Lord?

Both?

If you find yourself alone and just want to talk?

Feel free to message me if you want...

Hugs and Smiles!

All her heart...
