Poem -

Before my time

Whilst the moons aligns with the stars
I wallow in my existence

Swaying from side to side
To the left, where nothing's right
Or to the right, where's nothing left?

One says that I must try
I must try and I must fight
To the death of my old soul
And
The renewal of my new mind

Then one whispers in my ear
And tells me my soul is tired
And I should just rest

And I know I should because I am falling I am on my knees and I am grasping and clinging to the last few hands trying to help me

But I don't hold on too long.
Maybe for a minute, or two

Then I let go

And I fall into my destiny
