Bell Toll

Bell Toll

Whimsy surrendered
A cadence rendered
For whom the bell toll
Nocturne expiry soul

A shock ofΒ morose bell
Knelled niche in hell
Redemption denied pause
Exposed, all mortal flaws

T’was gravely profound
Deep entombed aground
Abyss dark and dank
ToΒ core, casket sank

Beetles chortled feast
Fodder for the beast
Behold this carillon tune
Cadaver hung jaundice moon
