A BELLOW...FROM BELOW...

Silence creeps through whispering winds
A swirling vortex of a voice held within
Muffled murmurs burst through the ground
Never before....
Have you heard such a sound.
The screams are seeping from the depths of his lair
As cries of anguish soak into the air.
His life of solitude...
His life of despair...
Alone...He did dwell
Unaware...No one cared.
This hollow and empty heart echoes pain
As lonely footsteps dissolve in the rain
Beneath the soil he chose to remain
Refrain...
From those who named him...
Insane...
No one to blame
No one to frame
Nothing to lose
Nothing to gain
But then one day...
His final last plea...
    He shouts!!
        A seed sprouts...
            And above grew a tree!!
Finally the broken soul from below
Creates beauty above
Now his heart was on show
Then so suddenly branches spring into form
Nurturing blossoms as new buds are born
A beast forlorn...
With necessity pure
Acknowledgement...
He hoped was the cure.
Then one by one they did hear his call
Gathering round his tree standing tall
With evergreen leaves never to fall
Providing....
   Forever...
      For one and for all!
And then he smiled.
As he knew he was found.
Where his silent whispers.
Were now heard.....underground.
