Best In Show

Now that I got your attention
May I drag your eyes in this direction
I'm looking to win it
Yes it does sound desperate
And I know I'm out here barking
I'm an artist , so I know a thing or two about starving
I'm of course talking about the contest on Cosmofunnel
I'm aching to hear the drum roll
The yellow winner bar above my write
So I can sleep well that night
I've worked so hard to drop some jaws
And leave my readers well in awe
 And I'm not even after the prize
I want the gaze from new eyes 
I want the cred and respect
Of those who haven't met me yet 
And to show my haters I was right
I've only just begun to fight
I want to be your favorite poet
I spill my mind with ink, and show it
Go ahead quote it
That's why I wrote it
Too no other cause am I this devoted
Not sure if this will sweaten the pot
Just trying to show I deserve the shot
I'll never stop writing , win or not
But I'll always be gunning for that number one spot
Just one good time, then I will know
And I will continue to share my flow
This dog wants to be best in show
And I will wrap up my words with a pretty little bow
