Bitter Truth
Haiku run
American Dream,
or better yet a nightmare?
Look at the numbers
Failure more likely
the statistics just don't lie
Just try to survive
Politics, crime rates
terrorist plots, pandemics
and everything else
Life is more about
protecting yourself more than
focusing on growth
A reality
we all must accept right now
It's the bitter truth
