Black and White

Black and white,
In my filthy eyes.
It may be colorful and bright,
For what you visualize.

Alone like always,
In this unknown place,
My whole world set ablaze,
To the world only a disgrace.

The kids play happily outside,
The birds prepare for winter,
At least I have tried,
Only to end in splinters.

Maybe it’s just me,
Your world can be full of hope and dreams.
That I can no longer see,
The world is a cold place or so it seems.
