Black and White Pictures

Black and White Pictures

Looking at black and white pictures
How time has passed us by
My grandma as youthful as I am now
Gone in the blink of an eye
Captured in a moment
A flash, forever there
Infinite, perfect, never changing
No wrinkles or grey hair
She's as vibrant as I am now
With her baby on grandma's knee
That baby is nearly 60 now
I wonder how can this be
It actually makes me terrified
How quickly time zooms past
You think you have all the time in the world
But you don't it goes too fast
Three generations encapsulated
There in black and white
Doesn't it make you nostalgic?
Doesn't it give you a fright?
