A Walk in the Park

Beautiful birdsong interruptedÂ
By blaring sirens screamingÂ
The drooling druggie flatlined
As he was peacefully dreamingÂ
The festering fishless waters
The dirty feathered ducks
Pissheads pissing in the pond
They couldn't give two fucks
The cronies in the cornerÂ
Hurl abuse at passers by
The toothless teenager hecklingÂ
With a scar across his eye
The pigeons all eat dog shit
That's falls off people's feet
Homeless hide under the lamps
Soaking up the heat
Alcohol stashed in bushes
Cans in people's pockets
Pupils small as pinpricksÂ
In sunken yellow socketsÂ
People having picnics
Needles hiding in the grass
A lovely outdoor area
For the kids of the underclass

An awesome depiction of the drugged drunk wild lives of the homeless , eloquently presented!! Yet many so called high class the high life night life rich folks have similar problems except homelessness.
Kudos!!!

Wow Jayne, I was blown away by the structure and purpose behind this write. It's hard to get the balance to write, but this one was outstanding. Worth a follow? I think so~ Impressed!!
