Black Mirror

Black Mirror

A smile reflects in temporal lapse,
Covet murky depths & crass,
Noose around thy throat, feign gasp,
Ghoulish caller beyond the glass.

Eerily present, facsimile loiter,
Malevolent echo heed exploiter,
Smirk stitched, mischievous embroider,
Across the vale, crude penumbra.

Pondering me with vacant eyes,
Ominous fix, pretence despise,
Sought the truth, answered with lies,
Extinguished light, fear arise.

A dramatist, fiend, attempt to allure,
Illusion of flesh an attempt to assure,
Thinks naive with glutton brochure,
Vessel is strong, darkness endure.
