Blue Eyes

Blue Eyes

Black swatch over blue
Steely, stoic, steadfast
Captivating
Encapsulating
My heart is stolen
In your moment

Your silent study
Skips my heart
Inviting, invigorating
Staccato breath
Captured by your lips
I can’t help falling

Caught before I slipped
Seizing unspoken wish
Heat flows in icy heart
Melting stone
I’ve surrendered
Captured in blue

What a subtle and effective poem. It’s unique. The photograph is captivating as well. A poem about love and how blue eyes could radiate the feeling in return. Good work here!
