Blue Nights of Dawn

Blue Nights of Dawn

When the dawn is no longer bright, but it turns to a midnight blue

The colors fade into the shadows of dust, and the cold dark in hue

The blue nights of the song in the wind, as the chill comes over your back

To the one who left you behind, as his ship passes by in the darkness of the sky

Where two lovers no longer be, but the tide has driven the brightness of away

Let the dawn turn to gloom as the days are longer, he shall be calling my name
