BLUE SKYLINE

'When the blue of the night meets the gold of the day,
someone waits for me . . . . ,' destiny was ready;
It gave what we wanted, ultimate, Indiana's dream,
your holy grail, unexpected, like a whiter shade of pale.

The blue turned to green and gave us yellow,
indigo above your soul resting, turquoise below,
fishes darted, mermaids started disturbing tails,
following breezes, zephyrs billowed distant sails.

A breath of fresh air was always there, waiting
to cleanse your mind, raise your spirit elongating,
we were becalmed, no movement, trapped in euphoria,
on the shores of Bermuda, the Bahamas and America.

The New York skyline flashed electrical blue,
there were no aliens, power restored for me and you.
