Childhood is precious.

Blue to Black

Blue to Black,
The sky consistently fades
As friends come and go,
And memories are made

Your childhood room,
Presently so distant
As responsibilities blossom,
And pain is consistent

No longer the urge
To scream and play,
The colors have dissolved
Into a grey
