Parched

Parched

Arise radiance alight
Make ruin errant plight
Ardent overtures compelled
Resonate aurora expelled

Petals of purest gold
Nature sublime to behold
O’ posy, dawn sprung
Laved by serenity strung

Distant horizons crowned
Roots tis shallow aground
Parched garden abloom
Evanescent heady perfume

Come hither sodden reign
Fervor spares nary grain
Cloudless sky most cavalier
Heaven aught shed tear
