You have a great way of saying one thing, yet having it stand totally for another, such as the sultry interlude of this introduction.Wonderfully written and delivered.
Thanks for your appreciation of my poem , " The Body ".
I do believe that before we were born or prior to our birth, we were dwelling as souls in God's home i.e. in Heaven. God picked a Papa and a mamma to be our parents and then we grew in our mama's belly for a while ( nine or ten months ) When we were grown up, we finally got to meet each other and we shared God's divine Light with everyone we meet which makes people happy. When we all embrace death, we have to give up the dress i.e. the HUMAN BODY (our costume ) to our dear and near ones and leave this place. There is no meaning for any quarrels or hatreds among us. The body is a costume of fancy; body parts are just for pleasure We are all children of God, and one day, our souls will surely join the heaven, leaving the body (costume) here on Earth. This is my reading for the above poem.
Exactly, you got it, bodily pleasure is irrelevant, indefinite and inadequate. Everything depends on the mindful pleasure and spirit. Body is nothing; Mind is powerful, you can move mountains by way of your strong mind.
