Coffee

I want to feel the sweet warm embrace of death
Like a cold fall day with a hot coffee
Expect the waiter messed up my order
Instead gave me black coffee
So bittersweet it made me ache
Though what would I say?
I could not tell him my order was wrong
No he was too busy
Dont be an inconvenience
I cannot tell him as he’s too busy
Expect I sit and sip
My bittersweet coffee
I forced the rough taste down
It warmed my throat, I felt it burn and burn
Till there was no more
No more coffee of warmth to hold me close
Instead I was left with one last warm option
An sweet warmth of pity sorrow
A sweet warmth embrace from death himself
