Poem -
Breakfast in Bed
The toast is done, and nice and brown
Best butter is all it needs,
A dollop of jam, her favorite kind
The one without the seeds

A glass of juice, freshly squeezed
Well, from a carton I do have to say,
The radio tuned to her favorite station
The perfect start to the day
-
Tea bags in the tea pot
I must be careful not to stew,
A splash of milk in her special cup
And there was her perfect brew
-
A special day, well they all are now
And any excuse will do,
To make my love, breakfast in bed
And just to say, βI love youβ

WOW!!... this is a stunningly well crafted poem..... painting a poetic picture with brushstrokes so delicate that the imagery literally jumps off of the page and helps the reader to feel as though they were a part of that morning's kindness and beauty...... where Love is the ever-so-subtle expression whose delivery is something that is given without any thought of reciprocation in any way.... just simple, straightforward, Love of another person....... given with beautifully and romantically motivated charm!!.......ALL STARS & PINNED!!...... truly profound work here dear poet brother!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!........T xo.Β Β

Every time he serves her "Breakfast In Bed"
