Breaking Chains

In the shadows I hide
There my demons await 
Crying out for help
Thinking it's to late

For help I have searched
Looking high an low
Begging and pleading 
But they keep telling me to go

They haunt me an taunt me
Holding me against my will
Hoping no one hears my cry 
So my soul they can steal

But help has arrived
To help break these chains 
That have held me captive 
In misery and in pain

But a light is breaking thru
And hope i can finally see
Believing victory is coming and i can now be free.
