Broken
Rape depression abuse

His harrowing hands keep her down,Â
Pushing her further, will she drown?Â
Her eyes squeezed shut,Â
From the punch to her gut.Â
An unbroken stream of tears,
From the man she fears.
Blood trickled down her thigh,
While she wiped her eyes dry.Â
The sound of his belt cracked,Â
His empathetic nature lacked.
Purple welts appeared over her ghostly skin,Â
Please, not another broken chin.Â
Â
Kicked to the floor,Â
Feeling like a cheap whore.
His callous touch ignited her heart,Â
Her black and blue bruises are his work of art.

Thank you again for the incredible poem.
You pack a punch with your words.
There is a market for poems and nonfiction essays/articles. I’ve been telling everyone who has five-star poems to submit their poems for places that pay compensation.
Just an FYI
I’m doing some research now on publishers and agents from all over the world. Once I complete my research, I’ll as the site managers if I can post the link of resources like a poem, with links to their websites. There are also writing competitions, however many require a small reading fee, those fees can quickly add up.
I really think you should consider publication
