I used to own the world, me vs it all, I felt untouched when I was with her. But I chased her away, I challenged my fate, I wouldn't give, and all I would do is take, it was my mistake, to mess it up when things were great. My blue skies turned gray when I chased the sunshine into the shadows that day, I never felt this way, but she felt this way when she was going through the pain, taste of my own medicine, the chemicals overwhelmed my brain.... Sunshine,my sunshine, smile at the sky even if you aren't mine, a kiss from my heart into the air, a gesture that I care, For all the fucking times I should have been there and I wasn't, the days I treated you like nothing...the days I gave you lie after lie, the days I made you cry. Goodbye, my angel, fly, for you never to return to my side...
