Poem -

Brown Eyed Girl

Regretfully yet again I awaken and arise,

memories of the beauty gently hidden within your eyes,

miserable and alone feelings both championed as my life's prize.

Morrison lyrics rendering a tender heart as prey,

Gorgeous thoughts of you on my mind gently skip and play,

Hopeful of the gift of a second chance sent my way,

A Shadowed Devil deemed unworthy of a retribution's pay,

Always and forever within my shattered heart you'll stay,

Leaving love to fall victim of my soul's darkest grey.

Beautiful brown eyes,

Because of immature past lies,

A young man's happiness,

Undesirably lost to the saddest darkest skies.
