Bubbly Brain Bath

My brain is clean from bubbles and soap
and the only word I remember is “hope”
“Forgetting is the best way to cope”
That´s what the washing lady said           
“It wastes time to mope
Instead,
completely empty your head
of both good and bad
before you go mad
or end up dead”

My vision is blurry - I think she might´ve used too much
The foam is expanding from my head – it´s covering my eyes
“Wait until your brain dries”
That´s what the washing lady advised
But she never told me the possibility
That the detergent´s corrosivity
Might not only cause pain
But completely melt my brain
And leave me as such
