Buried in the Rain

Buried in the Rain

The darkest of the deepest green of sea

Treasures of the past they sink

Deep into the dark of the other side

Where the greygallows of the crying

Buried in the rain, swimming no longer

The ship wrecked, the crew now just bones

In tunnels of crusted rust and growth

From lime and urchin moss blanketing

Time slipped away by current waves

The whales still mate and the sharks jaw waits

Stretched wide, as it eats the flesh away

Buried in the rain, from the dragons storm

Caving in the pirates plank, where their ghosts now roam

In the waters at midnight, their bony bleeding hands beg out

The serpent will indulge in the ransom of the vanished
