By The Weeping River

By The Weeping River,
All lovers tears do flow,
Along With Cleansing rain,
and Bitter melting snow.
The tears that flow in daily,
flood the river true,
To know you once loved Gaily,
and Now struck down So Blue,
You Lay Down on the soil,
Seeking life within the rain,
though Deep within your heart-of-Hearts,
KnowΒ you'll never Love like that again.
Your Heart was fluttering On the bank,
You met her by the stream,
A maiden fair as columbine,
a Euphoric love-locked dream.
You met her Eyes,
and she saw you,
and so you Knew,
That your love was true.
By the weeping River,
You Laughed your hearts away,
And filled the Sky with Happy Noise,
A Melody So gay...
By the river you Loved her so,
through the rain and melting snow,
You loved her till Her Dying Day,
she fell to the river, an hour Grey.
and you satΒ by the weeping river,
Adding your tears to the water slow,
you life will go on someday....
But In your heart-of-hearts you Know...
