CALL MY NAME

CALL MY NAME

         
                  I am brave, I am tough                                                                                                                           
                  I am not supposed to cry                                                                                 
                  Instead I laugh,                                                      
                  My call unheard, my voice is cut
                  I need to say
                  Instead I shut,
                  My arms extended, I want to receive
                  My hands are too proud
                  Instead I retrieve,
                  I am lost, I need a guide
                  I do not show
                  Instead I hide.
                  Throw a seed around my heart,
                  Something will grow,
                  As through the crack
                  Light can pass.
                  I am steel, I am flower,
                  I am strong, I am fragile,
                  Enlace your fingers
                  Enclose your hands
                  Protect my soul                                                                          
                  -Call my name.
