Cashew and Mechew

Cashew and Mechew

Twin brother and sister, Siamese kittens

Cashew, the shy little girl, and Mechew, the tuff and rough little boy

One could spell very well, and one could not

Cashew always struggled in spelling, and a bit of trouble in math

Brother, Mechew, had no problem, he had the very best grades

Mother was always pushing Cashew, to work harder on her school grades

Wanting her to be more like her brother

Growing up in a large city, in Beijing, China, was not easy

Busy streets, busy buses, and busy people

Cashew was very good in art and music

Mechew couldn't draw a stickman, but was great at soccer

One day, a student in the class was really late

The teacher wondered if she might be sick

The girl had just moved into town, no one knew her very well

The day went on, and still no show, the teacher couldn't even describe her to the police

Then suddenly, Cashew stood up, and waved her hand, saying" I can tell you how she looked"

Cashew's teacher looked surprised, and asked Cashew Kitty what she knew

Cashew got a pencil and paper, and sketched out the little girl

The policeman took the drawing and later that day found the wondering girl

The family of the lost girl, thanked, and thanked Cashew, over and over

The moral of this story is, that if you struggle with some things

Never give up on your talents and gifts

Mother Kitty, also learned today, do not judge your children the same

Because every child is different in a very, very, special way
