CATACLYSM

CATACLYSM

Alone...
Inside myself
Lost and scared within.
Overwhelming
Thoughts of sadness
Drown me
As I swim....

For guilt has built
A faulty bridge
Afraid...
I've fallen in.
I cannot touch the bottom
Saturated...
Is my skin.

I'm in deep waters here
Panic only makes things worse
My enemy is simply
Fear...!
What must I do to surface?

At least gain strength to find
The place I'm drifting to
Deep inside...
My minds riptide
Of oceans...
Navy blue.

The current may be strong
When turbulance takes hold
But that's the very moment when
We should all let go.

Then once again
Your washed ashore
Exhausted....
Back on land
That once lost fragment
Has been found.
Hence,
Once again...
We stand...!

AUTHOR WILLIAMS...

Dear Poetess Carey Milton,

Excellent write, I love this verse, my applause, my vote,

  • At least gain strength to find
  • The place I'm drifting to
  • Deep inside...
  • My minds riptide
  • Of oceans...
  • Navy blue.
  • The current may be strong
  • When turbulance takes hold
  • But that's the very moment when
  • We should all let go.

Regards & Love
