I remember
as a young
teen
Being seduced
by the Novel
"Catcher In The Rye"
How Ironic
that my attractiveness
to the content
was its ability
to allow me 
to escape
from the
present 
reality
around
me

As Caufield
I found myself
a troubled
teen 
in boarding school
wanting desperately
to avoid
the turmoils
of life
and being
saved
from losing
my innocence

Now an Adult
I often
drift
back in 
my mind
to a time
where 
I could
daydream
as I looked
out my
classroom
window
and
wondered
where
life
would
take
me 
as
Childhood
and
growing
into
a
Man
had somehow
seemed
to  briskly
merged
together.......................................
