cerebral void

cerebral void

My body is anchored to the ground
I reach for your hand but I can't find it
it's dark
the night only navigable by stars--
but there are none
my gaze is only met with the occasional flash of lightning
lighting up the thicket of dark clouds
and the wind
it's tendrils wrapping tight around my limbs
pulling me in every impossible direction
I am the storm
raging endlessly inside my mind
