Cha-la Cha-la

βChickery Chick Cha-la Cha-laβ
Was a happy little ditty
From days gone by, my how time flies
Those words were warm and witty
βLamsey dotes and dosey doatsβ
Brings back those days of yore
When life was fun in the morning sun
And you couldn't ask for more
βSkimmery rinky dinky dinkβ
Is another masterpiece
Jimmy Durante sang the words
To this clever little treat
βAbba dabba dabba dabbaβ
A chimp was heard to say
I still remember Debbie singing
In a most delightful way
So when you're down and things ain't right
Just whistle these happy tunes
You'll soon perk up you'll smile and say
βLife is a big cartoonβ

Thank you muchly, dear friend... Cheers Jack
Time flies, but those children's songs remain always in the memory as recent events, and with them all those characters from childhood. "That rain rain, the Virgin of the cave, clouds rise, sparrows sing, Yes, it not, that rain a shower and to wash all the windows of the station". Life apart from a great caricature, is plagiarism a thousand times herself, as mirages are those faces, those situations and those melodies that shaped the child.
A greeting and congratulations on the poem.
A wonderful review of these happy memories, my new friend! Thank you, Lucas!!!
